Headed out to the Carriage Inn in Enon, Ohio, and folks, it was a breakfast to write home about. This place dishes out the kind of meal that makes any drive worth it. I went big with a plate-sized chocolate chip pancake that was all kinds of right – fluffy, dotted with melty chips, and just enough sweetness.Pair that with a sausage egg biscuit sandwich – simple, yet so spot-on. The sausage was flavorful, the egg cooked just right, and the biscuit? Buttery, tender, it's the kind you hope for when you order a biscuit sandwich. My wife had the steak and eggs, and let me tell you, it was cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy, the eggs were done to a T, and those fresh potatoes? They were the crispy, golden sidekick that completed the plate. And hey, the toast was the ideal crunchy companion to all that savory goodness.The vibe in Carriage Inn is just as warm and welcoming as the food, and the serving staff treat you like family. Just one heads-up – when it's time to show some love with a tip, make sure you've got cash on hand.All in all, it's a thumbs-up for the Carriage Inn. Great food, great people, and a homely atmosphere that's tough to beat!Definitely the best kept secret of Enon!!!

Great little place to eat. All the food was delicious and fresh made not frozen. The owner was so nice. I love supporting these places vs big chain crap.

This is a great Hometown Diner experience. Simple decor, simple recipes and lots of food. I found the price is very reasonable and the atmosphere very comfortable. If you're looking for solid food at a good price you should not miss this one. I had the broasted chicken and it was delicious.

Old school with good food that looks homemade. And genuine flavor! We were surprised with how big the pancakes were. Definitely looking forward to going again.Only downside, which didn't bother us, is that the place is definitely dated. Other than that, it's clean, the food is amazing and the service is friendly.

Enjoyed a very good serving of lasagna, with plenty to take home for dinner the next day. Good recipe! Family gave compliments on the cabbage rolls and meatloaf. Reasonably priced and friendly service, and the chef visited the dining room to make sure customers were happy. I will return for sure.

They have the best steak I’ve ever had! Only on Friday and Saturday nights. The lasagna is to die for as well! The service can be a bit spotty, long wait times sometimes to take your order, or get a refill but they make up for it with the quality of the food. The owner, Joe is a sweetheart! He really cares about his customers so let him know if you need something and he will take care of you. They have fresh baked bread and the best desserts! Fudge, pie, cake and more! The breakfast is also awesome as well!

The food was very good. Restaurant was very busy, which was a good thing for them, but it took a while to get our orders in. It was very loud and hard to converse, but again, it was very busy. The servers were very kind and attentive. The owner was friendly and apologetic for any wait, even though we didn't mention the wait to him. The music in the background was loud once the number of customers had dissipated, but the Frank Sinatra era music was enjoyable. I'm looking forward to trying it again, possibly for breakfast.
